Wastewater Treatment Plant

The CSID wastewater treatment plant is capable of processing 5.5 million gallons of sewage per day.

Wastewater is pumped to our sewage treatment facility via 43 lift stations located throughout the District. After reaching our sewer plant, the domestic wastewater is biologically treated, disinfected, and then disposed of using deep well injection method. Any sludge that is produced is then dewatered and hauled offsite by a State licensed hauler.

Currently, the Coral Springs Improvement District is in the design process of numerous upgrades to the existing plant. This expansion will ensure the overall quality of service and reliability for the residents of the District.
